What is mesothelioma?

Mesothelioma- A cancer of the mesothelial lining of the lungs and the chest cavity, the peritoneum (abdominal cavity) or the pericardium (a sac surrounding the heart). The only known cause is from exposure to asbestos or similar fibers. It can be inactive for 20-50 years. Most people die from this and my heart goes to all who have lost someone to this.
